Today, publisher SEGA announced that their paid DLC “SpongeBob SquarePants Pack” for their recently released racing title ‘Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ is now available across all platforms. Players can now get behind the wheel of the Patty Wagon as SpongeBob SquarePants himself or his best friend Patrick Star and race for first place through Bikini Bottom.
Wait, when did SpongeBob get his drivers license…?
The SpongeBob SquarePants Pack includes the following:
- SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star as playable characters
- Patty Wagon Vehicle
- Bikini Bottom Themed Course
- New SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired Music Tracks
- Six different emotes per character
Players who own the Digital Deluxe Edition will automatically receive the SpongeBob SquarePants Pack as part of the Season Pass. For those who want to take part in the SpongeBob SquarePants fun, the entire Season Pass is separately available for $29.99 USD, which includes access to even more exciting characters, vehicles, and courses. Players can also purchase the standalone SpongeBob SquarePants Pack for $5.99 USD.
Players who do not own the SpongeBob SquarePants Pack will still be able to compete online against those who do and will be able to race on the Bikini Bottom course against the SpongeBob SquarePants characters.
This paid DLC pack follows a slew of free updates that have made their way to Sonic’s latest racing title—such as Ichiban Kasuga’s unexpected appearance!
