Per business and market analytics group Circana, ‘Battlefield 6’ became the top seller of premium games in USD physical and digital sales across PC and console platforms. It sits atop Nintendo’s recently released ‘Pokémon Legends: Z-A’ title (though do note that digital sales for this game were not included for this game) and comfortably pushes past a number of new titles from Microsoft and Bandai Namco Entertainment. Sony Interactive Entertainment’s ‘Ghost of Yotei’ sits at a snug 3rd place after ranking 4th in the same category last month, as Senior Director Mat Piscatella posted on Bsky:

Adding to that Battlefield 6 statistic, the game also sits at 1st place at year-to-date on ranked USD sales across PC and console platforms—taking the reigns from Take-Two’s ‘NBA 2K26’ and CAPCOM’s ‘Monster Hunter: Wilds’:

Hardware spending “grew 36% (in Octobner) when compared a year ago, to $351M” thanks to Nintendo Switch 2 sales, offsetting declining spends on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series console hardware. The Nintendo Switch 2 sold 328k units in the same month, putting it 68% ahead of the Nintendo Switch launch in the same time period. Also, spending on ASUS PC portable devices “increased by 4.8x compared to a year ago and is now 30% higher year-to-date”.
