I was lucky enough to be sent a Razer Pro Click V2 wireless mouse for review from the team at Razer recently, and having used it solidly for a while now, I can honestly say that it’s probably the most comfortable mouse I have ever got my mitts on. Featuring an ergonomic design and a stylish aesthetic, this mouse will please both gamers and professionals. Read on to find out more about it in the XboxEra review of the Razer Pro Click V2 wireless mouse.

Packaging and Design
The mouse comes packaged in a box that honestly took me about 10 minutes to open – it is definitely well protected in there. Once you get the main box open, there’s another box, but luckily this one didn’t have stickers over all of the seals. The mouse is nestled in here along with a box containing the USB cable, some stickers, and the wireless dongle. The underside of the mouse is protected by one of those satisfying peely protectors. Once I had removed it from the slightly over-the-top packaging, i was impressed. It feels really weighty and solid, fits perfectly in my right hand and the textured sides felt really nice. Fun fact-I am actually left handed, however I can’t use a mouse in my left hand due to being old and going to school during the time when they tried to just make you struggle through. This mouse is definitely not interchangeable, and feels really strange when trying to hold it that way. There is no left-handed version either, so sorry fellow lefties – you are totally out of luck here.
The mouse looks super stylish and not really at all what I would imagine a gaming mouse to look like. It has a large thumb rest for comfort, which ensures optimum hand position, and I had no problems at all using it for extended periods of time. It wieghs around 113g (3.9oz) and glides really smoothly on the desktop.
Lighting and Buttons
When I set this mouse up, it was alongside my Razer Blackwidow V4 Low-Profile Hyperspeed keyboard, and so I already had the correct Razer Synapse software installed. It was really easy to connect the mouse, and then I got to have fun with syncing the RGB lighting between both devices. This was definitely my favourite part of the whole setup; I am a total sucker for pretty lights, and the joy of seeing the colours change in sync between my devices was second to none. The RGB lighting has 14 zones with a full under-glow which brings a really nice look to my setup.
The Razer Pro Click V2 wireless mouse has 9 programmable buttons, and they can all be setup using the Synapse software. The buttons are all located where it feels really natural and intuitive to utilise them which is a great bit of design. This mouse also comes with a designated AI button, set just underneath the scroll wheel. With one press, it will connect you straight to your AI platform of choice which can be set in the Synapse software. I haven’t used this feature myself, but I’m sure it will become more and more useful as we integrate AI further into our lives.
The scroll wheel is brilliant on this mouse. You can easily switch between notched and high speed scrolling by pressing the wheel itself, all thanks the Razer’s HyperScroll technology. It feels great to use, and I would highly recommend it for both gaming and work use.

Battery Life and Connectivity
The Razer Pro Click V2 has a battery life of up to 3.5 months off of one charge. I haven’t had it that long so I am unable to confirm this is the case, but I’ve only plugged it in once whilst using it and it has held up admirably so far with me using it everyday for work. According to Razer “with just 5 minutes of charge via a USB C charging cable, you can get 2 working days of use.” So, it’s definitely suitable for heavy work or gaming sessions.
With regards to connectivity, this mouse has it all. You can connect to up to five devices at a time. One via HyperSpeed wireless, three via Bluetooth, and lastly one via the wired USB cable – meaning that you can switch between your TV, Laptop and whatever else you are using with no faffing around.
Performance
The Razer Pro Click V2 is a smooth, yet sensitive character. It has ultra precise tracking on multiple surfaces, and a maximum DPI of 30,000 and I honestly could not fault its performance and tracking. From precise adjustments to documents, to free-scrolling to find the specific part of a long pdf I needed to access, the mouse was brilliant at responding to my every request with no lagging or jerking. I believe both gamers and professional users will be really impressed by the way it handles.

Overall, the Razer Pro Click v2 wireless mouse is a dream. Highly performant, hugely comfortable to use, stylish looking and with a really solid battery life, it will continue to be my everyday mouse for the foreseeable future. The only downside is the fact that the left-handed folks won’t be able to get a look-in at all. It’s a great product, and if you use a mouse for long periods of time – either at work or for gaming, I would highly recommend it.
