Over the weekend, Team Jade announced that the next season to their free-to-play first-person shooter ‘Delta Force’ will launch on 18 November across all platforms. Dubbed “Season Ahsarah”, players will be introduced to an expansive Warfare map, a new Engineer Operator, major updates to Operations, continued console improvements, and much more.
Season Ahsarah will introduce “Monument”, a brand-new large-scale Warfare map featuring exotic locales, dynamic flanking routes, and diverse points of interest for all-out tactical warfare. Players can also take control of Gizmo, the newest Engineer Operator, whose unique loadout brings inventive new strategies to the battlefield.
The Operations experience expands significantly this season with the Zero Dam – Sinkpoint update. Players can dive into an all-new flooded area, face a reworked boss fight, uncover additional loot, and enjoy smoother extraction gameplay. Season Ahsarah will also add six new Hot Zone maps and introduce the Relink Neo device – an in-world tool offering enhanced narrative threads, bonus loot, and deeper exploration rewards.
And over on consoles, the developer continues to refine the player experience with console-only crossplay, mouse and keyboard support, and additional quality-of-life updates that further align console gameplay with PC standards like auto batch loot in Operations.
Lastly, the Metal Gear Solid collaboration is set to drop on 19 December, donning the French assault Operator in the guise of Naked Snake.
Full patch notes will be made available over the coming days. Delta Force is a free-to-play first-person shooter available on PC via Steam/Delta Force’s launcher, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 consoles, and mobile (iOS/Android via Google Play) with support for cross saving. It features a fully-free campaign based on the Black Hawk Down film and several multiplayer modes including extraction and warfare-styled PvP modes.
