Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches this Friday, November 14th, and its pre-load is now available. It’s a good thing it’s available early, as it’s really darned big.

Thankfully that 92 GB isn’t what this original pre-load size shocker of an image showed:

It would appear that if you choose to download all 3 parts of Black Ops 7, there is enough file overlap to keep the overall game size down. Still, you’re looking at a cool 100GB installation of the COD HQ app to play all three Black Ops 7 modes, with no big size benefit to only choosing one or two. On Xbox Series X, my update is clocking in at just over 106 GB total for all 3 game modes.
To install the game on Xbox or PC, manage your Call of Duty HQ installation and choose the BO7: Zombies, BO7: Multiplayer, and BO7: Worlds Collide options.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will release at local midnight time starting on Friday, November 14th, 2025. That means the ‘New Zealand’ trick should work. Keep your eyes on XboxEra.com as we do our best to cover each main mode with its own dedicated review.
