Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is one of the biggest Call of Duty launches ever, and with the team revealing the co-op campaigns new ‘end-game’ mode, it’s not hard to see why. Today, the team have revealed Avalon, a new area that you’ll unlock and tackle alone or with friends with a maximum of 32 players. The Call of Duty Blacks Ops 7 Co-op Campaign ‘Endgame’ has been detailed, and it looks pretty cool!
Per the developers, once you’ve completed the campaign, you’ll unlock ‘Endgame’, where “an entirely new and shared experience where the narrative continues to unfold” for you and your buddies.
So, what is Endgame, and how does it work?

Per a handy blog shared by the Call of Duty folks, once you’ve completed the 11 mission campaign experience in Call of Duty Black Ops 7, you’ll unlock Endgame. This new mode tasks the JSOC team with exploring Avalon, battling exposure zones and combating a mysterious toxin.
It’s a huge, open space like Warzone, and it’s been designed for either solo or up to 32 players, separated in to squads of four. Separated out across four increasingly difficult zones, you’ll team up with pals, level up you unique Skill Tracks and Combat ratings, and complete a variety of objectives.
So choose an operator, customise your loadout and head out! Playing will continue counting towards your main player progression, weapon levelling and unlocking camo’s for the games 30 launch weapons.
But there’s an Extraction-shooter flavoured twist!

Interestingly, as a PvE experience, there’s a curious twist to the gameplay here. Once you’ve completed your missions, earning new loot, skills and power upgrades for your character, you and your squad will need to exfil.
That means calling in a VTOL before the match timer runs out. Once you’re at your pick-up zone, you’ll need to clear the landing area and successfully extract. If you fail, you’ll lose everything bar your XP gains. Ouch!
There’s plenty more over on the blog post, so go check it out for all the details.
