After four years, it looks like it’s the end of the road for new content for Halo Infinite. The team at Halo Studios have announced the next Halo game, and have shared the final content plans for Halo Infinite as they move forward to a new era.
In a community livestream (see above) and via a blog post over on Waypoint, the Halo Studios team have detailed the last operation for Halo Infinite, dubbed ‘Operation Infinite’ which releases on November 18th.
For fans of Halo Infinite, there is some good news here. Spartan point rewards are being doubled, so players will be able to pick up something they like in the games ‘Exchange’. There’s also a doubling of career rank progress, meaning players will progress twice as fast through the career ranks and reach that coveted ‘Hero’ rank.

There’ll be a new Operation Pass, including a premium version, which will never expire, and there are 5 unique armour sets in this one, as well as six weapon models and over thirty spartan customisations. Lots to play around with.
The Exchange will drop over two-hundred ‘never-before-released’ armour pieces, attachments, coatings, charms, visors and other Spartan bits and bobs, so feel free to go play dress up to your hearts content.

They’re even dropping a couple of new maps in, including a Christmas themed Husky Raid called Yuletide, forged by yours truly. Fun fact, I submitted that two years ago. Merry Christmas, I guess.
A Thank You From Halo Studios
The team at Halo Studios also shared a note to fans, as they move on to Halo Campaign Evolved, and of course, the other multiple Halo projects that are in development.
As the Halo Studios team shifts focus to in-development projects such as Halo: Campaign Evolved, we’d like to thank our Halo Infinite players for years of steadfast support.
It’s been a legendary run of Seasons, Events, Fractures, and Operations, with plenty of maps, modes, sandbox additions, Forge tool upgrades, and incredible memories along the way. None of those milestones would have been possible without the guidance and enthusiasm of our community.
Between the players lobbing stickies in matchmaking, the pros tearing up the Ranked leaderboards, and the Forgers expanding Halo’s multiplayer mythos with remarkable experiences, each and every Halo fan has helped to create this unforgettable moment. Thanks to your support, Halo Infinite features nearly endless ways to have fun, share Forge creations, and lay a Spartan smackdown on your friends.
Your excitement is the lodestar for our every effort. Whether you’re a long-time player, a recently returned Spartan, or a brand-new ally, we’re grateful to have you on our Fireteam.
As we look ahead, your feedback will continue to help us refine our goals, in hopes of exceeding expectations and delivering the best Halo experiences possible. Throughout our day, we look to your suggestions, your art, and even your memes as constant reminders of our dual commitment to faithfully stewarding Halo’s legacy and forging its future.
Since formally announcing Halo: Campaign Evolved in October, we’ve been floored by the response from both longtime fans and Halo newcomers. We’re humbled by the trust you’ve placed in us, and we can’t wait to introduce new players to the iconic story of Halo: Combat Evolved for the first time in 2026.
Our own Aarsal managed to go hands on with Halo Campaign Evolved during HCS last month, and was excited by what he played, saying “After playing through just a little of Halo: Campaign Evolved, I’m feeling hopeful, excited, and cautiously optimistic about the future of Halo on Unreal Engine. The shooting felt precise (besides the “heavy” feeling sometimes), the visuals were fantastic, the level felt faithful to the original game, and the changes they did make (such as with the Hunters) felt worthwhile and positive. I think Halo fans are in for a treat next year as they relive their memories and explore the mysteries of Halo one more time.“
