In news that may upset some fans, but hasn’t surprised us in the slightest, Rockstar has just announced that GTA VI has been delayed from May 2026 to November, 2026.
In a social media post, Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto VI has been delayed from its May 26th, 2026, release date to November 19th, 2026.
The game was initially set to release in 2025, before being delayed to May of 2026. Rockstar has issued the following statement about this 2nd delay:
Hi everyone, Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026. We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.
