That was fast! Just last month, I reviewed this exhilarating mix of highly social mix of 3D platforming and brawling, published by Amazon Games. King of Meat packs tons of content, lots of customization, and even a wildly powerful editor, making for one of the most hectic multiplayer experiences this year. This October 2025 game is already 75% off on Xbox! Here’s what I had to say about it:
King of Meat may not feature the tightest 3D platforming ever, nor the most engaging brawler mechanics in history. Yet, its eventful and varied dungeons offer exhilarating platforming, satisfying exploration and chaotic combat. It’s fun as a solo game, but with other players it turns into an absolute riot. Tons of items to throw around, explosions, moving platforms, wacky physics – it’s hilarious chaos. With plenty of player customization, a powerful level editor and an almost stupid number of things to unlock, King of Meat could easily stay in your multiplayer rotation for quite some time. Here’s hoping the game’s player population will be solid enough to keep it around for a long time!
Worth a shot?
That last phrase aged well, huh? It is a legitimately exhilarating game, with a stellar amount and variety of content. Unfortunately, Amazon Games‘ latest multiplayer romp failed to make a meaningful splash, launching to poor sales and player numbers. Honestly, this 75% discount doesn’t bode well for the game’s future, but the game still has a small but loyal community, making it easy to find matches to this day. It’s easy to imagine the poor launch sales prompted such a quick sale.
This deal means that the Standard Edition of the game is down from 29.99 USD/EUR to 7.49 USD/EUR, while the Deluxe Edition goes down from 49.99 USD/EUR to 12.49 USD/EUR. The discount lasts until the 21st of November. With the powerful Create Mode and almost all content being completable solo as well, I whole-heartedly can recommend this one. There’s a non-zero chance it’ll be shut down in the not too distant future, but the game is legitimately fun. So, consider giving King of Meat a fair shot, as it’s certainly worth at least 7.49 USD/EUR.
