
While a new Call of Duty is always a known quantity on consoles, there’s been a fair amount of focus on the PC version of the game this time around. From improvements to Ricochet Anti-cheat, increased hardware support and even handheld compatibility, there’s plenty to talk about this time around. Today, alongside a launch trailer, the team at developer Treyarch have detailed all the PC-specific features for Call of Duty Black Ops 7.

Thanks to a handy blog post from Activison, the full specs are listed below, but Beenox, who are responsible for the PC version of the game are keen to stress Call of Duty Black Ops 7 has been engineered to run well on a wide range of PC hardware.

Additional Notes

Handheld PC compatibility

The developers are also keen to stress just how playable Call of Duty Black Ops 7 is on handhelds. Per the blog post, “Black Ops 7 ships fully tuned for supported PC handhelds, including the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X. The developers enhanced UI legibility, scaled every screen for smaller displays, and optimized the game to deliver smooth performance without sacrificing image quality. With native control support, it’s easy to drop in and start playing right away.” We’ll be keen to try this out for ourselves!
Call of Duty Black Ops 7 releases November 14th on PC via Steam, Xbox on PC and Battle.net, Xbox and PlayStation 5, and is available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
