Details of the new additions have been shared today by ‘redphx’ on X, who runs the fantastic ‘Better xCloud‘, a free open-source tool that improves Xbox Cloud Streaming and remote play for users of the service. The Xbox Stream Your Own Game initiative was introduced last year on web browsers, and then came to consoles in April 2025 – enabling Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to play titles they own via the Xbox Game Streaming Service.
Game Pass Ultimate members can save themselves both time and hard drive space and play their games immediately without needing to download and install them first. You can read more about Stream Your Own Game here.
The first release added today is the fabulous ARC Raiders. We have just shared our review in progress, and it’s safe to say we loved it. Per the review “ARC Raiders walks a fine balance. It’s an extraction shooter seemingly purpose-built for the hardcore players, yet is surprisingly accessible, whether you’re playing with friends or going out there solo. It’s thematically dystopian, yet utterly beautiful to look at, full of bright splashes of colour and a cohesive overall design. It can be tense, thrilling, and downright terrifying, but it is also filled with surprisingly sweet and endearing moments with the sort of random, social interaction I’ve not enjoyed since the early days of Sea of Thieves. This is ARC Raiders, and it’s just the beginning.
It’s one of the best multiplayer games of the year, standing toe to toe with the giants in the genre. I’ll see you topside.“
The second title to be added today is Vampire: the Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 from Paradox Interactive and The Chinese Room which was released last week on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Playstation 5. Per the team “Fight your way as an elder vampire through a modern-day Seattle on the brink of a supernatural war. Awaken from a century-long slumber as the Nomad, an elder vampire new to the modern nights, in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 where visceral vampire action meets a neo-noir murder mystery. Navigate the vampire court of Seattle and its dark secrets in this action RPG, realized by the BAFTA award-winning studio The Chinese Room.“
Xbox really seem to be pushing this service at the moment, which is great news for gamers. If you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber the different ways in which you can play your games is growing, providing more flexibility and time-saving which can only be a good thing.
