Last week, Team Jade made available the second part of their “SAW” collaboration event in their free-to-play first-person shooter ‘Delta Force’. Every day until 5 December, players can log into the game and complete weekly missions to earn “SAW Coins”, which will let them purchase individual SAW-themed collaborative customisation items—including the event-exclusive “Jigsaw” Operator skin for D-Wolf. Perfect for scaring the pants off your opponents this Halloween week.
Besides that, players looking for a different kind of challenge can dive into the new Halloween Challenge mode, which tasks them to engage in battles with specific rulesets. You can test their skills in unique modes like melee-only, shotgun-only, and sniper-only! To match the occasion, a full suite of holiday-themed Weapon Appearances will also be available. These festive skins can be acquired just by launching the game and playing during the event.
Randoms holding you back? You’re likely part of the problem too, but not to worry: Solo-queue for Operations is here! As the developer introduces this new way to play, the mode will initially be tested on the Zero Dam map. This limited-time test will run on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and Team Jade encourages all players to jump in, share their feedback, and help shape the future of solo-queue in Delta Force. As always, full patch notes can be viewed on the game’s official website.
Delta Force is a free-to-play first-person shooter available on PC via Steam/Delta Force’s launcher, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 consoles, and mobile (iOS/Android via Google Play) with support for cross saving. It features a fully-free campaign based on the Black Hawk Down film and several multiplayer modes including extraction and warfare-styled PvP modes. Check out our fairly big article on the game covering all its features, modes, and platforms with a few choice quotes from the development team. The game is also running a collaboration with ‘Goose Goose Duck’, which you can learn more about right thisaway!
