ARC Raiders pre-load is up on Xbox

The pre-load for ARC Raiders is now live on Xbox Series consoles, and it’s another relatively small UE5 title.

After a successful ‘Server Slam’ earlier this month, ARC Raiders is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S (Xbox Play Anywhere on PC too!) on October 30th. The game’s pre-load is live, coming in at svelte 29.06 GB download.

It’s been a nice trend lately, smaller install sizes on current-generation consoles. Borderlands 4 is a similarly sized game, despite its massive map and extensive content. Older titles always had to support spinning disk hard drives. It’s why Helldivers 2 on PC is a bloated download of nearly 150 GB, yet a tiny install comparatively on consoles.

ARC Raiders is the latest title from Embark Studios, who previously released The Finals. ARC Raiders is a multiplayer extraction shooter, where players can team up in squads of up to three and take on the ARC units – and other players – in a PvPvE sandbox.

Players wanting to pre-order the game can do so now through the Microsoft Store, and the standard and deluxe editions both come with The Lucky Duck Bundle, which contains a backpack and backpack charm. Orders of the Deluxe Edition will also receive the Astro Bundle Bonus containing another exclusive backpack, suit, and colour variants.
