It seems as though folks can’t get enough of all the balls! Developer Kenny Sun and Publisher Devolver Digital are sharing some well deserved success – rogue-lite BALL x PIT sells over 300,000 copies in less than a week.
If you missed this one, its worth checking out. BALL x PIT is like if titles like Breakout and Arkanoid had a very addictive baby with something like Vampire Survivors, and it’s going down very well with the gaming masses.

Following its release, the game crossed the 100,000 sales milestone in just 24 hours. Now, just five days later, it’s sold over 300,000 copies, and that’s with the game being on Xbox Game Pass too. Developer Kenny Sun is seemingly very pleased, sharing on Bluesky – “Been too overwhelmed for a formal announcement post but BALL x PIT came out yesterday and I’m stunned by the response! I’m very grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.“
We reviewed BALL x PIT, and came away pretty pleased overall, with our Review Editor Jesse saying “BALL x PIT is a brilliant mish-mash of two genres, with excellent strategic choices in its main gameplay sections. The town building may not be for all, but I enjoyed it well enough. The only minor issue was the sameness of the progression between the base game and new game plus. Still, it took me nearly 60 hours to get to that point; it’s in Game Pass on Day One, and I had a blast while doing it.“
