DoubleFine really don’t want Keeper to be spoiled

The latest title from DoubleFine releases today, October 17th and the team shared a post on Bluesky early this morning reiterating how much they would like to keep some surprises for players to experience during play. Keeper is available to play from 4PM BST on PC, Xbox Series X|S and of course, Xbox Game Pass. We’ve now had some time with the game whilst reviewing it, and can totally see why DoubleFine really don’t want Keeper to be spoiled.

A Note about KEEPER Spoilers: On our end, we promise we won't be posting spoilers on main until way post-launch (and even then, we'll do our best to give you all some time to play through the game and let it marinate). How can you help maintain the mysteries of KEEPER? Glad you asked! ⬇️⬇️⬇️

We got to experience a preview of Keeper at Gamescom this year, and had a chat with Tim Schafer who had this to say about the game “It’s funny and it’s very neat and hopefully it is the most beautiful, unique walking lighthouse game you’ve ever seen. But you can see elements of our previous games – you can see a lot of Psychonauts and surrrealism and stuff. We’ve always, at the studio, been drawn to things that we’ve not seen before. Things that seem to come from different themes and from paintings and different artists. I mean, I can’t vouch – I know a lot of whiskey has been dropped around. You can check out our impressions here.

XboxEra have also written a totally spoiler-free review of Keeper which will be available to read and watch from 4pm BST. We promise our review won’t spoil anything for you, and will only show mechanics and gameplay that have already been seen in trailers thus far.
