The team at Activision have announced their newest free trial of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 but this time they are offering even more than usual. This time around, the entire campaign of the title is included as starting today, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has a free trial for a whole week including Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies.
Running up until the 16th of October, this free trial (unlike previous trials) also includes multiplayer and Zombies, so there is absolutely tons to play through. The only feature not covered is ranked play, but players will get the full single player campaign. Players will also get access to the full range of over 40 multiplayer maps, all six Zombies maps, plus all of the content released yesterday for Season 6 The Haunting. One interesting point to note in the timing of this free trial is that it coincides with the release of Battlefield 6 which launches on October 10th. Is this a deliberate retaliation by Activision? We can’t say for definite, but it’s definitely a thought-provoking coincidence.
We reviewed the Campaign for Black Ops 6 on release last October and our reviews editor Jesse had this to say “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Campaign is excellent. While the story might not be perfect it was just logical enough to keep me happy. If you’re looking to shoot the ever loving s**t out of a lot of people, there’s nothing quite like a good Call of Duty campaign. It helps that this one is great.”
Obviously, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is included as part of a Game Pass Ultimate subscription. But due to the changes in all of the plans last week, along with the giant price hike – we know there’s definitely at least a few of you who’ve cancelled or dropped their subscription tier. With this trial, you can play for the next week to your hearts content without any Game Pass subscription at all. The free trial ends on October 16th at 10AM PT.
