Supermarket Simulator Lands in Xbox Game Pass

Shop, shop, shop.

Ever fancied running your own grocery store? Well, now you can as part of your subscription to Xbox Game Pass. The chilled-out first person simulation game released originally on Steam and was super popular, and now months later Supermarket Simulator has landed in Xbox Game Pass, complete with a multiplayer update.

Supermarket Simulator Lands in Xbox Game Pass

The premise is simple for Supermarket Simulator – You are tasked with managing a supermarket and all that entails. You’ll be taking on cashier duties involving scanning items and processing payments, providing excellent customer service whilst also managing your stock and displays. Sounds simple, right? Well as you progress through the game the challenge level increases as does demand and your multitasking capabilities will be put firmly to the test.

Supermarket Simulator originally released via steam where it sold over 3 million copies. The developers Nokta Games shared this update regarding the new multiplayer mode: “While Supermarket Simulator has primarily been a single-player experience, from today you can play it together with your friends on both PC and Xbox Series S|X. You can play cross-platform between Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, but at the moment Steam and PC Game Pass cannot be played together.

The latest update also allows players to fulfil online orders, and also drive to local stores to purchase more stock. Sounds like the team have been working hard to make the gameplay experience more diverse all round.
