Today, developer Super Evil Megacorp announced that their action brawler ‘TMNT: Splintered Fate’ will be seeing a new paid DLC today, adding “Metalhead” to the playable character roster across all platforms—introducing an all-new long-range playstyle. Equipped with a devastating laser cannon, contact-triggered landmines and tactical abilities designed to keep enemies back, Metalhead can do major damage from a distance.
In addition, a free major update is dropping as well: adding new tools, artifacts, a “Pizza in Peril” storyline, tons of improvements, and a brand-new intense “Arcade Mode”.
Highlights include:
- Hex and Flex system offering major variety (and plenty of chaos) to each run
- A fast-paced and accessible mode, perfect for quick sessions solo or with friends
- Three new biomes that twist reality inside out: the Spectral Sewers, Astral Ship, and Manic Metropolis
- An all-new Wraith enemy set with multiple variants: multi-limbed beings that fire homing projectiles and teleport for added chaos
- Enemy Invasion: The realm reshapes battles in unexpected ways, creating unpredictable enemy combinations
Available for free for all players, find Arcade Mode through the new Home Lair portal to Metalhead’s Lab and jump into the action. This mode will also see more content added to it in the future.
METALHEAD COMPANION CONTENT (Free)
Metalhead’s debut ties directly into this new free mode, bringing additional content for all players. Players will be able to enjoy this mode even if they haven’t bought the Metalhead DLC.
- Robotics Turtle Power tree leveraging “charge effects” for high-impact actions
- Drone tools that add devastating passive and active ranged support
- Pizza in Peril storyline, a new narrative arc connected to Arcade Mode
- New Artifact – Positronic Motherboard
GAME IMPROVEMENTS (Free)

All new content arrives is now available across all digital & physical platforms, alongside the launch of our first physical editions; the Deluxe Edition will be available for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One.
