Marvel Rivals is finally introducing a weak version of cross-progression during Season 4.5. We have all the details, including how it works, and more.
A long-requested feature is finally coming to Marvel Rivals. Cross progression will allow you to carry your save over across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. Marvel Rivals devs have detailed how this works in a blog post. To put it simply, you will:
- Navigate to Settings and look for the Account Linking option under the “Other” tab.
- From there, you’ll be able to connect your accounts from PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
- You set a ‘main character’ who can then be used across platforms.
- Changing that character involves a short cooldown before you can do it again.
That’s right, you get cross-progression for a single character at a time…. Whoopee! Your rank and leaderboard position are still platform-specific, as well. Here are the updates coming to the game, including the addition of Daredevil as a duelist.

Team-Up Changes in Marvel Rivals Season 4.5
Season 4.5 brings another round of team-up system adjustments with removals and new additions.
Removed Team-Ups in Season 4.5
One team-up is being completely removed from the game:
- Ragnarok Rebirth

- Namor is being removed from the Gamma Charge team-up.
New Team-Ups in Marvel Rivals Season 4.5
Two brand new team-up abilities are being added:
New Game Mode Coming in Marvel Rivals Season 4.5
Season 4.5 will introduce a new game mode. Full details about this mode will be revealed at the Thailand Game Show on October 17th. We will update this section as soon as there is more info about this mode.
Halloween Event and Themed Costumes
A special Halloween event is coming to Season 4.5, complete with themed costumes to celebrate the spooky season. The developers said that they have prepared special content so players can enjoy this holiday together in Marvel Rivals. Here is the list of characters that were showcased in Dev Vision with Halloween costumes:
- Peni Parker
- Jeff The Land Shark
- Namor
- Scarlet Witch
- Blade
- Spider-man
Hero Balance Updates Coming in Marvel Rivals 4.5
The patch notes and balance changes weren’t showcased in the Dev Vision; however, they will be shared soon.
