If you tuned in to the Xbox Show at the Tokyo Games Show last week, you wouldn’t have been able to miss the big reveal trailer for Forza Horizon 6, due for release in 2026. But the big question for all Forza fans will be, is Forza 6 coming to Xbox Game Pass? Let’s find out.
Forza Horizon 6 is releasing at some point next year and will be set in beautiful Japan. The team over at Xbox had this to say about the location “For a long time, Japan has been top of Horizon fans’ wish lists, so we’re excited to finally be bringing this much-requested location to players in Forza Horizon 6. Japan has such a unique culture – from cars, to music, to fashion – that make it perfect for the next Horizon setting. As with any Horizon title, we want to make sure we do the country justice in terms of authentic representation and Horizon open world playability – and now is the right time to realize that fully for players.” You can read more about the game in the Xbox blog post here.
Game Pass
Forza Horizon 6 will be initially launching on Xbox Series X|S and PC with plans to also move to PlayStation at some point post-launch. And yes, the game will be a Day One release on Xbox Game Pass, so players who subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass will be able to play the title at launch within their subscription – great news for fans of the critically acclaimed and award-winning franchise.
