This month Mojang hosted their latest Minecraft LIVE show. Held twice yearly, these events give fans of the blockbuster game a chance to see all the content that is due to be released in the next few months. The most recent show included a release date for The Copper Age, and a collaboration with Dragon Ball Z, here is everything that was unveiled at Minecraft LIVE 2025.

The Copper Age
This will be available to download on September 30th, The Copper Age features the new Copper Golem, a powered shelf block, and also will be changing the way that early-game tool and weapon progression works.
The Copper Golem will be there to assist players in sorting items in their bases, and there will also be new copper tools, armour and some copper weaponry to use.
Mounts of Mayhem
This drop will be coming later this year, and includes many new features. The Nautilus is a rideable underwater mob to help you explore in the deep sea, and there is a brand new spear coming too. The team at Mojang described it as “Our first tiered weapon in quite some time. “Tiered” means you can craft it out of different materials, and each one will act in a slightly different way.
The spear is especially exciting due to the unique way it works. You can jab with it or use the charge attack. But watch your timing – hold the charge attack for too long and your attacks will lose attributes and effectiveness. Just as exciting is the way that the spear’s damage is affected by your movement speed. Go faster (for example on a mount) and you’ll hit even harder!”

Dragon Ball Z
Fans of Dragon Ball Z will be excited about this collaboration with Minecraft arriving later this year. You can already download a free Super Saiyan hair character creation item, and there promises to be loads more content to come – so stay tuned for further updates.
The show also included an animation for the games Happy Ghast feature, a new tutorial for the beginners, and some stories from players around the world. You can watch the whole show here.
