You’ve placed your pre-order, and now the countdown has begun! There are only a couple of weeks until the shiny new ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X launch on October 16th, and what better way to fill the time than some more retail therapy. And we have some good news for you shop-a-holics and accessory fiends, as a premium 2-in-1 case has been announced for the ROG Xbox Ally.

The new case made by ASUS specifically for the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X is described as follows “The ROG Xbox Ally (2-in-1) Premium Case is a hard shell carrying case designed to get your device where it needs to go. Designed for the ROG Xbox Ally and co-branded with Xbox, the case features a water repellent shell, premium YKK zippers, and a soft fleece inner liner. When carried inside the Premium Case, your ROG Xbox Ally can easily be tossed into a bag or backpack without worrying about scratches or bumps. The detachable accessory pouch is purpose-built to carry the 65W charging adapter and can be removed when you need to travel light.” It retails at $69.99, and is available direct from the Asus store, and also Amazon and Best Buy, however it is currently already sold out on Amazon. If you are finding it tricky to source one, keep an eye on the official page on ASUS’ site to see where you can get one in your region.
As well as the 2-in-1 case, there are other accessories launching for the handheld device. Dbrand have released a teaser page, there’s not much to see on there as yet but it hopefully won’t be long, and there is also the ROG Bulwark DG300 7-in-1 dock to check out.
For those that are in need of an external GPU, ASUS have also released the 2025 ROG XG mobile.
