Sad update, overnight PoP: The Lost Crown has been removed from the ‘New Games’ GP section of the Xbox PC App
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is showing as the newest addition to Xbox Game Pass, though not on consoles. When users try to install it, though, it fails with an error.

PoP: The Lost Crown, a game I feel is one of the best ever in its genre, is showing as available in Xbox GP on PC. When users try to install it, though, it fails with an error message that says “Content Failed to Load”. It is not listed as added to Game Pass at all on Xbox consoles.

I loved the game back at launch, stating:
Prince of Persia returns to its 2D roots, with an action platformer that gets what makes this “Metroidvania” genre so damned good. You are Sargon, a member of the Immortals, the fiercest warriors in all of Persia. Double-crosses abound, time is broken, and you’ll have to fight destiny itself to try and save the kingdom. It’s a solid premise, supported by good looks, incredible music, and sublime gameplay. Most important of all though is a damned near-perfect power ramp.
Keep an eye on this article for updates on whether this was mistakenly added or mistakenly added too early.
