People Of Note – Musical RPG from Annapurna Interactive Launches Next Year

Do you fancy playing as a part of a full-on musical in video game form? Well, if that’s the case, then you’re in luck. Publishers Annapurna Interactive are showcasing a brand new title at the Tokyo Games Show 2025, and it looks like it will hit all the right notes. Let’s get the lowdown on People Of Note – A musical RPG from Annapurna Interactive which launches sometime in 2026.

With a bad-ass looking team of guitar-playing and singing characters, and some enchanting looking environments to discover, People of Note looks to be a bold and hopefully tuneful adventure. From sell-out concerts to woodland glens complete with waterfalls and the occasional monster, this title offers a huge world of musical fun to explore. Despite being a turn-based role-playing game, People of Note is also a complete musical, featuring choreographed and cinematic sequences. Even the battles and game mechanics are based around musical ability and offer fully interactive and intricate sequences of expressiveness.

People of Note is being showcased at the Annapurna Interactive Booth at the Tokyo Games Show this year, located at Hall 6, 06-C01 at Makuhari Messe from Thursday September 25, 2025 – Sunday September 28, 2025. This year marks Annapurna’s debut at the show and they are taking full advantage of their booth space by allowing attendees to play this title as well as two other indie games.

People of Note will release digital only for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Xbox (X|S, Windows) and Playstation 5 in 2026.
