This year at the Tokyo Games Show, publishers Annapurna Interactive will be showcasing three new indie titles. One of these is Demi and the Fractured Dream – developed by the team at Yarn Owl, and it’s coming next year to Consoles and PC.

In Demi and the Fractured Dream you play as a voidsent called Demi (funnily enough) who is trying to escape his cursed fate on the World of Somnus. The game is set across a myriad of ancient kingdoms, and you’ll be surrounded by the ancient Gods and Monsters of days gone by. Will you manage to fulfil your destiny?
Featuring an eclectic mix of puzzles and platforming, with old-school hack and slash combat mechanics thrown in for good measure; Demi and the Fractured Dream takes you right back to the good old days of classic action-adventure games. You will be guided on your journey by a curious voice, and also helped along the way by an acolyte named Mergo, enabling you to fully immerse yourself in the beguiling narrative.
Demi and the Fractured Dream will be playable by attendees of the Tokyo Game Show 2025 at the Annapurna Interactive Booth, located at Hall 6, 06-C01 at Makuhari Messe from Thursday September 25, 2025 – Sunday September 28, 2025.
The game is releasing on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and on Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, and Playstation 5 sometime in 2026. Stay tuned to XboxEra for further updates.
