‘Delta Force’ Season “War Ablaze” is now Live

New Operator, Map, Console Improvements, Collabs and Future Roadmap Details

Today, Team Jade announced that their latest Season “War Ablaze” for their ongoing free-to-play first-person shooter ‘Delta Force’ is now available across all platforms.

A bunch of content has dropped for the Warfare mode today:

  • New Warfare Map – Fault: Set in an ancient town taken over by Havvk forces, this map’s core feature is a massive canyon, creating unprecedented vertical combat experiences. Additionally, dense fog will appear on the map, significantly altering the pace of battle.
  • New Vehicle – Jet: We are introducing the first true fighter jet to the game. It is the fastest and highest-flying vehicle yet, equipped with a primary cannon and customizable secondary weapons like air-to-air, air-to-ground, and radar-guided missiles.
  • New Operator – Raptor (Landon Harrison): He is a recon operator specializing in tracking and counter-surveillance. His passive allows him to see enemy footprints and provides a visual cue when aimed at. His tactical gear, the “Wing Cam,” can ping enemy locations and carries an EMP grenade.
  • New Weapons – MK47 & Marlin Lever-Action Rifle: The MK47 is a new top-tier assault rifle, while the Marlin Lever-Action Rifle combines a classic design with modern tactical attachments for immense stopping power.
  • New Modes – Air Superiority & Team Deathmatch: “Air Superiority” is a mini-mode that emphasizes airborne vehicle combat. We also listened to community feedback and are introducing the fast-paced “Team Deathmatch”, removing revivals, objective captures, and more for more direct combat.
  • Victory Unite Update: Commanders and squad leaders can now build three types of fortifications on the battlefield: Bunkers, Anti-Aircraft Guns, and Coastal Artillery, adding more strategic depth to the fight. Pregame role selection and ranked play will also be introduced, making Victory Unite a more meaningful and rewarding way to engage the game’s tactical warfare.

In addition to this, the Operations mode has also seen its fair share of improvements:

  • New Boss & Task: The Warden, Ghroth, will make his appearance in “Tide Prison.” Players can delve into his story and choose to side with him or Raven in a brand-new, boss-led clash.
  • Map Update – Layali Grove: A massive forest fire has broken out in Layali Grove. The heavy smoke and spreading flames will alter paths and sightlines, presenting a whole new challenge.
  • Loot & Economy Optimization: We’ve added new Legendary loots and made the 3×3 Safe Box unlockable through various paths. A loot protection system has also been implemented, and we’ve increased the total loot value while tweaking entry requirements for the Hard Brakkesh and Space City maps.

To celebrate the new season’s launch as well as the game’s one-year anniversary, Team Jade is introducing a suite of events of which players can get up to 3,900 time-limited Delta Tickets, 14 Firearm Appearances, 7 Vehicle Appearances, and more. More details can be found over in the game’s official news section.

On top of all this, two collaborations are in the works for Delta Force: the first of which being the recently announced SAW legendary collab appearance for Operator D-Wolf, coming 23 October. A collaboration with publisher KONAMI also sees a future ‘METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER’ event coming, with a suite of in-game content and exclusive cosmetic items will be released in the game, highlighted by a special Nox Appearance inspired by Naked Snake, a figure well-known by many from the legendary tactical espionage action franchise. More details of this collaboration, including its release time, have yet to be announced.

New events have been added to the game’s event page and the ‘Arknights’ tab has received a new minigame, complete with its own rewards. A few days remain for the Exusai-themed Toxic skin and, for console players, the chance to roll for the Schwarz-themed Luna skin remains a week’s total. Next up is the Wis’adel-themed Hackclaw skin, which is anticipated to debut later this week.

Last but not least, during the latest live stream, the developers also took time out to talk about future plans for the franchise, and what they have planned for fundamentally enhancing the gaming experience for Delta Force in its second year of release:

  • The Evolution of Operations: The “Space City” map will receive a massive expansion in early 2026, featuring underwater combat. Team Jade will also introduce a new system allowing players to play as a boss and recruit defeated players to their side, along with a nuclear power plant map, set to be released in 2026.
  • Engine & Visual Upgrades: Delta Force will be migrating to Unreal Engine 5 in H2 2026, integrating photogrammetry technology and realistic lighting system to create a more realistic battlefield environment.
  • Full-Scene Destruction: The game will support high-precision physics simulation to achieve full-scene destruction, where every single building can be leveled. The first stage implementation is targeted for early 2026.

Delta Force is a free-to-play first-person shooter available on PC via Steam/Delta Force’s launcherXbox Series, PlayStation 5 consoles, and mobile (iOS/Android via Google Play) with support for cross saving.
