Giving Heart to Comfy Living

Last week, publisher XD Games unveiled a first look at its coming cosy life simulation game ‘Heartopia‘, coming to PC and mobile devices worldwide in 2026.

In Heartopia, players arrive on a blissful island and take on the role of town developer. Between enjoying the laid-back lifestyle and uncovering the hidden stories of the town and its residents, players will customise furniture, put together colourful outfits, and build their perfect home with seamless in-game support for User Generated Content.

Heartopia features six core hobbies for players to wind down with –

  • Fishing
  • Gardening
  • Cat Care
  • Bug Catchin
  • Birdwatching
  • Cooking

Exploring the game’s gorgeous and seamless open world will have players unlock new entries in their encyclopedia, improving the rewards gained when taking part in their chosen hobbies.

Have a gander below for more details on Heartopia, including a “Rainy Day Vlog” that follows the day of a young lady living her best life. Heartopia will also be playable at Tokyo Game Show.

The brand new Heartopia gameplay video shows off the serene atmosphere and relaxing vibes of the game, as the player equips their umbrella to embark on a chill rainy day around town. Filmed in the style of a vlog, it shows the player indulging in some retail therapy at the various shops around town, playing with their pet cat and dog, and cooking up a delicious meal for their friends.

Heartopia will also be playable at the Tokyo Game Show 2025 in Japan from 25-28 September, with events running at the booth such as a cosplay contest with cash prizes and a Heartopia plushy raffle.

Heartopia is bringing chill vibes and a cosy life to PC and mobile devices when it launches worldwide in 2026.
