Yesterday Microsoft announced a group of games that will be coming to Xbox Game Pass Core this October – the first additions since March 2025. All three games will be arriving on the service on October 1st – So let’s have a look and see which three titles will be coming to Xbox Game Pass Core in October.
Disney Dreamlight Valley
Featuring many favourite characters from both Disney and Pixar, Disney Dreamlight Valley is an engaging mix of adventure game and life-sim. Your aim is to restore the Valley to it’s former glory, whilst building your own neighbourhood and interacting with beloved faces both old and new.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide
Originally released on Xbox Game Pass in late 2022, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a gory action shooter full of bloody battles and intense moments. Our reviews editor had this to say: “Hilarious banter, ridiculous fights, a great mission structure, and satisfying progression show that Fatshark is only getting better.”
Cities: Skylines – Remastered
The remastered version of the award-winning game from Tantalus Media allows players to build and manage the city they have always wanted. From the Publisher: “Build the city of your dreams: plan road networks, bus lines and parks. Bring on a smog-filled industrial revolution or create a quiet beach town ideal for tourists powered by renewable energy. Bring education, healthcare and safety to your citizens. Build it your way!“
