New Zombies Cinematic for Call of Duty Black Ops 7

Activision have shared a new Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Zombies cinematic trailer, and shared a little more detail on the eight characters involved, in addition to a little tease about when you’ll see a lot more from the Treyarch Zombies team.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7’s Zombies | Meet the team!

In Call of Duty Black Ops 7’s Zombies, it seems these ‘never-before-seen incarnations’ of the original Zombies crew have been transported to the ‘Dark Aether’ where mysterious powers are quite literally sucking out their souls.

There’s a new blog post from the team that goes into a lot of background detail on each of the crew. How and why they got transported to their current location is a mystery yet to be solved, but for now, we have the details on each of the crew, from top left to right.

  • Grigori Weaver – A Ranger-trained CIA operative.
  • Dr. Elizabeth Grey – A highly educated and brilliant scientist.
  • Major Mackenzie ‘Mac’ Carver – A man of exceptional skill and commitment to his country.
  • Maya Aguinaldo – Trained in the family business of smuggling.
  • Tank Dempsey – A battle-hardened U.S. Marine.
  • Takeo Masaki – A disgraced ronin who wandered 1591 Feudal Japan.
  • Nikolai Belinski – A Soviet tank commander.
  • Dr. Edward Richtofen – A brilliant but unhinged scientist and hero of the Reich

Per the blog post, “Ripped from their respective timelines, our expanded crew finds themselves thrown together in an alien dimension, accompanied by old friends, uncertain allies… and something far, far worse…“. Sounds pretty spooky.

If you’re looking to hear more about Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Zombies mode, it doesn’t seem you’ll have long to wait, as the developers have promised a “massive intel blast detailing extensive gameplay, systems, enemies, and feature content coming to Black Ops 7, direct from the Treyarch Zombies Team!” Or you can go read our early preview.
