Hype is building for the latest instalment in the Call of Duty Franchise. Black Ops 7, set 10 years after Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is a global adventure featuring both old and new characters and a whole load of new maps to play on. Luckily, the wait is almost over as the Early Access Open Beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 arrives on October 2nd.
Our reviews editor Jesse was lucky enough to take part in a preview for the game in August and you can read his thoughts here. He summed it up by saying “Black Ops 7 feels like a culmination of everything that BO6 started, refined down into something tighter, even better looking, and full of smart ideas.“
The Open Beta will be running from October 2nd – October 8th, with early access granted for eligible Xbox Game Pass subscribers and preorders. When the game officially launches on November the 14th, there will be brand new 6v6 Multiplayer maps will available to play as well as an 11 level campaign, with a bonus mission which can be launched once the initial run is completed. All of this can be played solo, but it definitely looks like it’s the sort of title that is much more enjoyable (and manageable) when played with friends.
According to Jesse “Graphically, the game looked stunning. From the facial animations in cutscenes to the texture work everywhere, Black Ops 7 is stupidly pretty.” It looks like there is a lot in store for Call of Duty fans coming up soon.
