When you redeem a SHiFT code, it’s not always guns – sometimes it might be a cosmetic item, but often what you will get are Golden Keys, which open special golden chests littered throughout the game world of Kairos.

How to redeem Borderlands 4 SHiFT Codes
In order to get your Golden Keys, you’ll need to redeem the codes on Gearbox’s SHiFT website. First, create an account by heading here.
It’s a very simple process, and you can utilise linking to whatever platform you prefer, from Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Epic, Twitch, 2K, Google, AppleID or an email address.
You can then either redeem your SHiFT codes on the site directly, or using the in-game menu in Borderlands 4 itself. Once you have the code redeemed, you can head in game and find a Golden Chest to grab your rewards!
Last thing to mention – it’s worth holding on to your Golden Keys until you’re at the endgame. Loot is dished out at your current level, so waiting until you’re a level 50 character might be more worthwhile – but ultimately, it’s up to you!
