Borderlands 4 arrived this week, and looter shooter fans are diving into the world of Kairos across consoles and PC. If you’re on Xbox, and feel that addictive gameplay loop taking hold, then there some potentially good news (or is it bad?) for you and your future productivity. Borderlands 4 has been added to Xbox’s “Stream Your Own Game” Service on Xbox Cloud Gaming – meaning you can go vault hunting wherever you are!

That’s according to ‘redphx‘, the developer behind ‘Better XCloud‘, a free extension that allows players to take advantage of higher bitrates and quality when streaming their Xbox games on Microsoft’s Cloud Streaming service. The developer regular updates folks with updates seen to Xbox Cloud Gaming, and today shared that 2K’s Borderlands 4 has now been added to the list.

“Stream Your Own Game” (No prizes for catchiness there Microsoft!) is a value add for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members, allowing players to stream games they own outright on any device that aren’t necessarily a part of Xbox Game Pass. There service boasts more and more titles, with games being added pretty regularly.

Now it seems Borderlands 4 has been added to the list, meaning that would-be Vault Hunters can sort their billions of guns on the go – wherever they are by Streaming Borderlands 4 to whichever device they have on hand, be it a phone, laptop or…car?
We reviewed Borderlands 4 on PC (No console code was available ahead of embargo for either Xbox or PlayStation) and this open world looter shooter earned the highest of praise from our Reviews Editor Jesse.
“Open World Loot-focused cooperative shooters are my favorite genre. Borderlands 4 is the best one in it that I’ve played. I have no major faults, only a few minor gripes about one character and how long bodies take to disappear when you want to grab the loot underneath ‘em. Outside of that, Borderlands 4 is a masterpiece. For all the hours I have already played, I could easily see myself putting in another thousand over the years, loving every second of it.” You can read our extensive review, right here.
