‘Cronos: The New Dawn’ sales have exceeded 200,000 copies

Cronos The New Dawn released to eager horror fans everywhere last week, and earned pretty favourable praise. Now, the team have announced that ‘Cronos: The New Dawn’ sales have exceeded 200,000 copies in less than a week.

The report was shared by MauroNL on Twitter, via a company Investor Relations message. The management Board of Bloober Team informed investors that “by 8 September 2025, the sales of the issuer’s game “Cronos: The New Dawn” exceeded 200,000 copies in digital version on all platforms.”

It’s worth noting that this doesn’t include physical sales, and the game released across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, Switch 2 and PC. The team also mentioned the game had been wishlisted over 1,000,000 times, though it doesn’t shared whether that’s across just Steam or multiple platforms.

Either way, it’s clear that the team behind the Silent Hill 2 Remake has done some good work here, that’s resonating with most video game horror fans, and is another win for a new IP in an industry that increasingly relies on remakes, remasters and known quantities.
