Atari’s comeback into the public gaming consciousness continues, and now we get to slide further into the wonderful nostalgia of that vast back catalogue thanks to a new, handheld device. The ‘Atari Gamestation Go‘ has been announced from the folks over at ‘My Arcade’!
If you don’t know who My Arcade are, they’re an industry leader in retro gaming, so it makes perfect sense that they’re releasing a retro handheld. The Atari Gamestation Go is officially licensed, and features over 200(!!!) built-in games that include various features, from an integrated paddle to a trak-ball and number pad.
In terms of what games are included within that 200 figure, the team have shared that it will include classics like “Asteroids: Recharged, Missile Command: Recharged, Centipede: Recharged, Breakout: Recharged, Berzerk: Recharged, Balls of Steel Pinball, PAC-MAN™, alongside fan-favorites from the Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, and Arcade including Asteroids, Breakout, Missile Command, Tempest, Warlords and many more.“
