Today, Xbox and energy drinker maker 5-hour Energy have announced a brand-new collaboration that brings Xbox Game Studios’ up-and-coming first-person role-playing game ‘The Outer Worlds 2’ to a pair of alien-flavoured energy drinks that are sure to cause tingling sensations at the tips of your feet and other general nerve ends. The Purpleberry Punch is available for purchase today from the company’s website and select retailers later with a second flavour Mock Melon Brew coming in November. Both drinks will come with an exclusive item for use in game, the former of which was revealed to be a Purpleberry Raptidon pet skin (on the right).

Fans attending PAX West in Seattle got an early taste of the collaboration this past weekend. Visitors to the 5-hour Energy booth sampled Purpleberry Punch, snapped photos with The Moon Man, and entered daily giveaways for themed prizes.

The celebration continues in November with the release of a second limited-edition flavor: Mock Melon Brew, available exclusively at Circle K stores across the U.S. Alongside the new flavor, customers who purchase any 5-hour Energy product at Circle K will receive another exclusive in-game item for The Outer Worlds 2.
