The team took to social media via Bluesky to share that Xbox gamers can now link their Xbox Live Account to GOG. “Are you an Xbox user looking to start building your DRM-free library on GOG? We’ve got the perfect news for you! You can now log in to GOG with your Xbox account, putting you just one click away from buying games that will be yours to keep forever. We’re waiting for you!”

They shared an image of the new account linking process, showing just how simple it will be for existing Xbox Gamers to link their accounts, and start building their libraries on the platform. All of this effort is linked to Microsoft’s increasingly platform agnostic push, promoting playing games “wherever you are” as opposed to be locked to a specific hardware platform. We also have the release of the upcoming joint venture between ASUS and Xbox, with the ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X.
We went hands on for an extended look at the ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X at Gamescom, and came way pretty impressed with the hardware, and importantly, the software layer underneath, which truly makes Windows far more ‘controller-friendly’.

With the new Xbox Full Screen Experience bringing in multiple stores, including GOG.com, Battle.net, Steam and Epic Games, the team at GOG.com are acting proactively to share the news that for Xbox gamers, the choice of when and where to play is soon going to completely up to them.
We look forward to bringing you our in-depth review coverage of the ROG Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X closer to launch – including how it feels to operate multiple stores. Both devices are releasing worldwide on October 16th.

Now if I could earn Xbox achievements and gamer score on GOG games, that would be great
This has been a thing for a while. And it sucks. Syncing is horrendous if it connects at all
Really I’ve used GOGs galaxy launcher for a long time as my main hub for gog, steam, and Xbox with very few issues. Is this mainly a console issue
Logging into GOG with Xbox has never been a thing. You’re thinking of syncing your Xbox library with your GOG Galaxy library.
Me. Now if it found my xbox owned games AND gave me GOG versions like they did with steam a few years ago , then we’re talking. Or even vice versa.
