Relaxing Adventure ‘Arcadian Days’ Launches into Steam Early Access 16 September

Your days are precious.

Last week, developer IMMERSIV GAMES announced that their non-linear relaxing adventure title ‘Arcadian Days’ will launch on PC via Steam’s Early Access programme on the 16th of September.

In Arcadian Days, players will take on the role of a young girl by the name of Miela, whose choices and exploration are entirely up to the player. No map markers nor glowing lights will shine the way through the critical path as the game encourages players to take in the sights and interact with Miela’s family, where choices not only impact the immediate future but influence and shape bonds between loved ones.

The traditional items seen in the game are authentic real-world items scanned in from digital museum archives from Poland and Romania and are used to bring Arcadian Days’ setting to life in Unreal Engine 5.

Have a gander below for more details on Arcadian Days. We’ve previously recommended this title as part of our Steam Next Fest series of articles for its unique take on narrative choices in a “relaxed” setting. Plus, it looks quite stunning! The game will also launch on Xbox at some point down the line, with support for Play Anywhere.

Arcadian Days is the debut title from IMMERSIV GAMES, crafted to set a new standard for independent video games by prioritizing player agency, emotional depth, and narrative freedom. At its core, Arcadian Days offers an open-ended exploration experience that emphasizes curiosity, wonder, and authentic human connections.

Players step into the shoes of Miela, a young girl whose boundless curiosity leads her to discover the vibrant and diverse lands surrounding her family’s homestead. Accompanied by her loyal dog, Tola, players engage dynamically with Miela’s parents, shaping the emotional depth and complexity of family interactions based entirely on their choices and explorations.

The game unfolds across seven immersive days, each offering distinctive opportunities, adventures, and richly detailed mini-stories. Every decision influences not just immediate events but also the deeper bonds between Miela and her family, ensuring that each playthrough is uniquely personal and emotionally resonant.
