Nintendo has just announced a new Indie World Showcase coming this week. Here is when and how to watch it.
Nintendo Indie World streams tend to be a short celebration to show off smaller titles. They describe them as:
“Tune in for roughly 15 minutes of new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.”
If it is anything similar to the recent Nintendo Direct, then there should be a handful of multiplat titles that will also show up on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC for those who do not currently own a Switch or Switch 2.
The 15-minute long stream will take place on August 7th at:
- 6 AM Pacific US
- 9 AM Eastern US
- 2 PM GMT UK
- 3 PM CEST Europe
You can watch it at the link above on YouTube or Twitch.tv/Nintendo. With the stream being this short, it is unclear of how many games will be shown. Indie World streams are on the lower run of importance when it comes to their Directs. Nintendo is a platform dominated by first-party releases. Rumors on that front have pointed to a Nintendo Direct to show off their late 2025 releases, Metroid Prime 4 & Kirby Air Riders, coming next month in September.
