
How to Redeem your Battlefield 6 Beta Code
Alright, you’ve managed to somehow get a hold of a Battlefield 6 beta code, granting you early access to play. But how on earth do you redeem the damned thing? How do you choose which platform to play on? We’re here to help – here’s how to redeem your Battlefield 6 Beta Code.
If you’ve managed to snag a code from a content creator stream or a giveaway, here’s how to to make it all work!
How to Redeem your Code
- Obtain your code – be it from a Twitch Drop via your favourite creator, or via a giveaway. Note – if you ever signed up for Battlefield Labs, you should gain instant access.
- Log in to your EA Account.
- Redeem the code to your account.
- Link your preferred platform to your EA Account, be it Xbox, PlayStation or Steam.
Be aware, the folks at EA have said that when you redeem your key, you may get a message that cause some concern – namely, it might say “BASE GAME REQUIRED”. EA have advised not to worry, and that message is just to ensure you download the Battlefield 6 Open Beta on your chosen platform when it becomes available.
When does the Battlefield 6 Open Beta become available for download?
Per the folks at EA, you will be able to download the Battlefield 6 Open Beta on your preferred platform (Xbox, PS5 or PC) starting August 4th, 2025 at 1500hrs UTC.
You can play Battlefield’s Open Beta on:
- PlayStation®5
- Xbox Series X|S
- PC
- Steam
- Epic Games Store
- EA app
- Early access opens on August 7 at 8:00 UTC (1AM PT)
- If you signed up for Battlefield Labs before July 31, you don’t need a code. Just log in with the EA Account you registered with Battlefield Labs.
- If you didn’t sign up for Battlefield Labs, you can watch select creators during the reveal streams on July 31 on Twitch to unlock Early Access.
- Weekend 1 opens on August 9 at 8:00 UTC (1AM PT) and closes August 11 at 8:00 UTC (1AM PT)
- No code needed, available to anyone
Battlefield 6 releases on October 10th, 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC.
