EA has just revealed the release date for Battlefield 6 at their multiplayer event, and the game looks amazing.

Blimey, that was rather good, wasn’t it? Following the official announcement of EA’s Battlefield 6 with an interesting-looking campaign-focused trailer, the multiplayer component has now been revealed alongside details of the game’s beta periods and when you can go hands-on for yourself.
Per EA “Wage all-out war with infantry and vehicle combat, class-based squad play, and cutting-edge audiovisual immersion. Where Fighter Jets, Tanks, skydiving RPGS, Heavy Artillery, and high-intensity infantry combat become one. Demolish your surroundings for a strategic advantage with Tactical Destruction. Turn your vehicle into a wrecking ball, bury a squad under a ceiling, or create new paths to victory. Battlefield’s new Kinesthetic Combat System makes you more connected to your soldier and environment than ever before. With overhauled gunplay and tactical movement, from crouch sprint to drag and revive, every shot and movement is more instinctual and precise.“
The team of studios working on Battlefield is bringing back classes – Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon roles all return, each offering different weapons, gadgets, and traits. Vehicles – like tanks, choppers and jets are present and accounted for ,too. Pair this with a new destruction system, and the game looks absolutely insane.

Battlefield 6 is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and the EA app on October 10th, 2025.
