According to a report by Variety, Wolfenstein has a series in development at Amazon-MGM from the producers of Fallout, Kilter Films.

A report today from Variety states that a TV series for the Wolfenstein franchise is in active development at Amazon-MGM. The project is being headed up by Patrick Somerville, listed as the series’s showrunner and creator. Kilter Films will see Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Athena Wickman serve as Executive Producers. James Altman, son of the late Zenimax head, Robert, who heads up Keyframe Films & Jerk Gustafsson of developer MachineGames are also EP’s according to Variety.
The Wolfenstein franchise began back in the 90s under iD Software. The series was revitalized in the 2010s by Machinegames. Wolfenstein: The New Order rebooted the franchise while serving as a loose follow-up to Raven Software’s 360 Wolfenstein title. An excellent sequel and three offshoot titles, including a mediocre VR game, followed.
There is no other direct information about the TV series in the Variety Report. It is early days as the show is yet to have a cast, overall plot, or be picked up by the network. Amazon has been going heavy on its video game story adaptations as of late. Fallout: The Series was a surprise smash hit, and a Mass Effect show is already in the works.
