Per the press release, Krafton have shared that “For the first time, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is collaborating with global K-pop group aespa to bring a series of themed in-game updates, visuals, and experiences to the Battlegrounds. Players can now explore aespa-themed locations and concert venues on Miramar, with additional visual elements such as themed care packages, planes, and an emote stage, appearing on all 8×8 maps. The emote stage allows players to perform some of aespa’s most iconic tracks, including their latest hit.

The collaboration itself revolves around an ‘original music track‘ which the K-pop group ‘aespa’ have created especially for this collaboration. There’s a new teaser film (embedded above), a music preview, and an upcoming ‘main collaboration video‘, which will lead up to the both the release of the full track and relevant in-game content on July 15th. The update is coming to consoles on July 17th.
