Today, developer Team Jade announced that their latest season for their ongoing free-to-play first person-shooter ‘Delta Force’ is now available across PC and mobile devices, with the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 versions of the game dropping on the 19th of August. Season Break introduces two new maps, a new operator “Tempest” who may be the fastest operator in the game yet, new weapons and vehicles, and more. Plus, the ‘Arknights’ collaboration begins this week.
Delta Force will support full cross-progression across PC, console, and mobile. Xbox and PlayStation players will have the option to enable cross-play with PC or opt for console-only matchmaking. Additionally, the legendary Black Hawk Down single-player campaign will be available as free DLC at launch for these systems (it is currently available for free on PC as a separate download within the client).
Check out the details below. Delta Force is currently available for grabs on PC via Steam/Delta Force’s launcher and mobile (iOS/Android via Google Play).
Explore the New Additions in Season Break
The new season introduces two action-packed maps designed to test players’ tactical limits and elevate squad coordination to the next level:
- Operation Map: Tide Prison
Dive into a high-security island prison operated by the shadowy Haavk faction. Players must infiltrate disguised as inmates, recover gear mid-mission, and solve multi-layered puzzles — solo or with their squad. Swimming, diving, and underwater exploration make their debut, opening up new paths and strategic opportunities. - Warfare Map: Cyclone
Set on a lush, tropical island concealing a deadly ICBM site, Cyclone is a large-scale battlefield supporting intense infantry and vehicle combat. A dynamic weather system introduces rain, wind, and storms, affecting visibility, movement, and strategy in real time.
New Operator: Tempest
Free with the Season Break Battle Pass, Tempest is a lightning-fast Operator equipped with:
- A cutting-edge auxiliary spine mobility system
- Emergency evasion tech for instant repositioning
- A charged drill that disarms enemies in close-quarters standoffs
Tempest is the ideal choice for players who thrive in high-pressure, frontline engagements.
Expanded Arsenal & Enhanced Combat Systems
Season Break brings even more to the battlefield:
- New weapons including a high-impact assault rifle and precision compound bow
- Jet skis and for amphibious warfare games
- Victory Unite system upgrades, including a real-time command hub and a new call-in support mechanic to accelerate respawn time and reinforce coordination under fire.
The Delta Force & Arknights Collaboration will also make its debut with this update as players can enjoy a plethora of free collab-exclusive items, including two Amiya-themed legendary weapon appearances, Avatar – Amiya, and Calling Card – Amiya. Plus, discover hidden Arknights Easter Eggs in-game. Players can also complete missions starting July 11 to earn Operator Cards for Research – Arknights Force.
