Bandai Namco Summer Showcase coming July 2nd

Prepare for a new My Hero Academia game...

You may have thought that with Summer Game Fest out of the way, that’d be that for Publisher showcases, but you’d be wrong! The Bandai Namco Summer Showcase is coming our way July 2nd, and the publisher has plenty to show it seems.

It’s a short trailer, but Bandai Namco have teased the reveal for a new My Hero Academia straight out of the gate. We’ll also be getting a look at Code Vein 2, Everybody’s Golf hot Shots, Shadow Labyrinth, Digimon Story Time Stranger, Patapon 1 and 2, Little Nightmares 3 and more.

Plenty to look forward to! I’m personally looking forward to Little Nighmares 3 – I went hands on at Gamescom 2024, and liked what I played. You can check my hands-on preview right here.

My colleague Aarsal recently got a deeper look at Code Vein 2, saying: “Bandai Namco showed enough to keep my excitement going strong as someone who very much enjoyed the first game. They’ve shown that they know what the strengths and the weaknesses were and aim to improve the former while limiting the latter, which is always the best part of video game sequels. If you were a fan of the first game or if you simply like the genre, Code Vein 2 is looking to be a game to keep your eyes on.
