This week, publisher Pearl Abyss will be bringing upgrades to the console versions of their ongoing action MMORPG title ‘Black Desert Online’—the PS5 and Xbox Series versions of the game will launch tomorrow, on the 26th of June. And with it comes faster load times and improved gameplay experience to console adventurers around the world.
For Adventurers that began their journey on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, this launch will be a seamless transition that allows player progress and history to remain preserved, allowing them to continue their journey on the latest generation of console hardware. The publisher also revealed the initial content schedule for upcoming updates on the new platforms, kicking off with a major content update on Thursday, 10th July, introducing the fan-favorite and powerful new class, Deadeye, and unveiling a mysterious new region, Ulukita. These updates are the first to take full advantage of current generation hardware.
As of this update, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will cease to function. Players will need to upgrade to the current generation consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X|S) in order to play Black Desert Online. More information can be found on the console version’s official website.
