Today, ATLUS, Perfect World, Black Wings, and SEGA have made their coming global release of ‘Persona5: The Phantom X’ available for pre-loading across PC via Steam and mobile devices (iOS, Android via Google Play). The mobile clients come out to be roughly 14GB in size, while the Steam version comes out to be a whopping 75GB wide and perhaps a bit tall.
Persona5: The Phantom X is a free-to-play gacha turn-based role-playing game taking place in the world of the critically acclaimed ‘Persona5’, which has since garnered millions of sales over the past eight years. Players will take on the role of a new cast of characters in this take on Persona5, where they’ll take on real-world responsibilities while donning a mask and venturing into a world of darkness and demons to change the hearts of corrupt people. The game features all-new music from a new cast of composers, familiar tracks, and a new opening composed by Ryota Kozuka and sung by Lyn Inaizumi.
Last week, SEGA announced that the game would feature a collaboration gacha and event with the PC and console game Persona 5—players will be able to pull for Joker and participate in an event that combines the new cast with returning and familiar faces. Check out the video below for even more details on the game from Joker’s (Amamiya Ren) voice actor Fukuyama Jun.
Persona5: The Phantom X will launch across PC and mobile devices at 3AM UTC on the 26th of June. Pre-registering now will net you bonuses, including pulls and an outfit for the main character. More details can be found on the game’s official website.
