Bandai Namco have announced that Little Nightmares 3, the latest game in the franchise is heading to Xbox Series X|S this October, plus an additional surprise reveal that I did not see coming!

Little Nightmares 3 is taking us back to Nowhere, moving on from horrific restaurants with a number of health code violations or mesmerizing TV signals to show us something a little bigger.
From developer Supermassive Games, Little Nightmares 3 got a brand new trailer, set in a terrifying ‘Carnevale’ called “You’re in for a ride” that looks as creepy and unpleasant as one would hope for the franchise. There’s even a new 10 minute gameplay walkthrough, though I’m not going to watch it as I don’t really want to be spoiled.
Little Nightmares 3 is coming on October 10th, but if you pre-order it today, there’s another surprise in store. That surprise is Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, a remaster of the first game that is free to all players that pre-order.
And the best bit? You don’t have to wait until October 10th to play it.
The early access for Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition begins as soon as you place the pre-order. That means four months of ‘early access’.
If you can wait, I understand that all players that own the original Little Nightmares will receive the upgraded version for free – Nice!
More on Little Nightmares 3
I got to go hands-on with Little Nightmares 3 back at Gamescom in 2024, and came away looking forward to visiting Nowhere once again, saying “Despite having to continue another developers franchise, the team at Supermassive have definitely put their own stamp on things with Little Nightmares 3. The world Tarsier have built lives on, and it’s not too dissimilar to the previous games. Little Nightmares fans should feel right at home, back in Nowhere, where everything is warped and strange and just plain wrong. While this feels more evolution than revolution, fans of the series have plenty to look forward to, and I can’t wait to continue the journey later next year.“
Little Nightmares III will release on Xbox Series X|S & Xbox One, PS5 & PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 10th, 2025.
