‘Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter’ Hits PC, PS5, Switch 19th September, Physical Edition Details

Earlier this month, publisher GungHo Online Entertainment America announced that developer FALCOM’s coming remake of turn-based role-playing game ‘Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter’ will drop on the 19th of September for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5 consoles.
Additionally, GungHo has announced physical edition details for both the Switch and PlayStation 5 versions of the game: North American fans can pre-order the Collector’s Editions through Limited Run Games. European fans can pre-order the Standard Edition and the Collector’s Edition through Clear River Games and other major retailers. More information on the pre-orders will be available at a later date.

Pre-orders have begun since the 17th of June on Limited Run Games’ website—with the only unit being available now (as of this writing) is the Steelbook Switch edition. No word on replenishments, but it never hurts to check the website every now and again. The estimated ship date is between the 19th of September and the 31st.
The Launch Celebration Pack will be available for all users two weeks after the game’s launch, with availability limited to a 1-month period, but available always for those who purchase the SteelBook® Edition and the Bracer Edition.

Originally released in 2004 for PC and ported to the PSP in 2006, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is a classic JRPG set in the Liberl Kingdom. The story follows Estelle Bright and her adoptive brother, Joshua, as they begin their journey to become senior bracers. What starts as a simple mission grows into a battle against a mysterious organization threatening their homeland. As they uncover hidden conspiracies, Estelle and Joshua face increasing dangers that test their courage and strengthen their bond.
