Better xCloud Dev Drops Free “Better Xbox Store” QoL Userscript

A bassi for future quality-of-live improvements.

Today, “Better xCloud” developer redphx dropped a new userscript aimed to add additional quality-of-life features to the Xbox.com storefront. Installation of the script is simple—all you need is the Tampermonkey (available on Chromium-based browsers and Firefox), head over to the associated Github for Better Xbox Store here and click the link in the second step under “How to Install”. You’ll likely need to restart your browser for the script to take effect (for Edge, typing “edge://restart” works, too). At the moment, the script only does two things:

  • Hides “shovelware” titles from the Xbox Store. The full list of filtered developers and publishers can be found here and it seems there is no way to turn this feature off for the time being.
  • Game release dates and times will be shown relative to your timezone.

With more features planned down the line. Head over to the script’s official Github to download, suggest improvements, or even fork your own version of Better Xbox Store.

Introducing "Better Xbox Store": a free userscript that brings QoL features to the xbox.com website github.com/redphx/better-xbox-store 1. Remove trashes from the store 2. Show the exact time the game will be released (in your timezone) More features coming soon.
