Beginning tomorrow, from the 13th of June til the 20th, Brain Dead Studios (4D) and music platform NTS will be running a special in-person event in partnership with SEGA to celebrate 25-whole years of beloved gaming icon ‘Jet Set Radio’. You’ll be able to pick up exclusive merchandise, check out the gaming lounge, art gallery, live music, canvas tagging wall, and even bag some custom airbrushed merchandise.
More specifically, tomorrow is a limited ticket event that will get you to see a screening of SEGA’s Masayoshi Kikuchi and Ryuta Ueda, Brain Dead Studios’ Kyle Ng, and Them Skates’ Jon Julio. The art gallery will get you a mind’s eye into the world of the creativity behind Jet Set Radio, too. Plus, movie screenings curated by the minds of Jet Set Radio and Brain Dead Studios. Days beyond that are open to the public—keep an eye on the official site and head on in-person for ticket information.
If you can’t make it, you can also buy some Jet Set Radio stuffs over on the official Brain Dead Studios website beginning tomorrow. Have a gander below for the exact timings and details on the in-person celebrations. And you should know that Jet Set Radio might just be coming back in more ways than just shirts and mugs…
